Don't understand your comment about the side pulley?? Are you talking about the belt pulley?? It is entirely separate from the Lift all. You do not need to split the tractor to remove the lift all. There is a cover plate under the tractor just behind it that is held by two bolts. Take that cover off and you can see the shaft coupling that drives the lift all pump. To get the lift all out, take out the three half inch pipes, one on the right and two on the left. They just screw out. Remove the operating lever by undoing the screw that holds in. Then you can remove the four bolts on the bottom that hold it up in there. BE CAREFUL!!! It weighs over 100 pounds. You need help to get it out, or replace the 3/8 inch bolts one at a time with 3/8 threaded rod and nuts and then jack it down with the nuts. You have to position the shaft coupling so the "cross" will slide out of the slots. The set up you have sounds like home made. For it to work, you have to lock the lift all lever in the lift position, then fluid flows through the spool valves mounted on the pedastal and returns to the fill port of the lift all. When you work the spool valves, fluid under pressure will be directed to your implement cylinder. If you do not have the lift all control rod in the lift position (all the way back) you will get nothing.
