That ol JD B

Yes indeed we had an ol John deere B (unstyled) it had steel wheels on it. My daddy painted it Red and silver because he likes farmalls more, but by gosh that was a good tractor even more so since it was a JD product and we all know how 99.9 percent of John Deeres are complete piles of junk. I will say when we took it to the scrap yard a few years back (it still ran/operated good, but its not like they're worth any thing over scrap value) and watched as it was cut up and thrown in a pile of iron it was a really great feeling. We replaced it with an Farmall M (one of the best tractors ever made) and are still using it. My son restores old garden tractors and is carrying on the family tradition (ihc man) and has no use for any jd product, in fact this past week he just took a motor (runs perfect) of a 60's 110 jd (round fender) to use on a cub cadet and could not have been happier when we took that junk 110 to the junkyard. Oh yeah it looked/worked great but we all know how that goes 2 mins later they are complete junk :) Just felt like sharing my story.
