Sold a tractor to a man the other day over the phone, told him i wanted cash,he said,no problem. He shows up a couple days later, likes the tractor, proceeds to get a check book out.Wait a minute, you agreed to cash,he said didn't know you meant that.He says take the check to the bank and cash it.Banks says it takes 4 days for a local or 14 days for out of state check to clear. They will cash it,but if it bounces they come back on me for the money. He got very mad and left. Had this happen 2 or 3 times over the years, don't know the best way to handel it.That guy drove 3 hours. Any good opinions? Thanks.
