I am looking to buy an older tractor to use around my property. I need to mow a few acres of grass (formally a hay field) and also would like to be able to use other implements such as: belly mower, post hole digger, harrow, and brush hog. Does any body have any suggestion as to what will give me the most "bang for the buck" in the older models? I've gotten advice such as: Ford 8N, Cub, and need to know the pros and cons. I am a mechanic by trade, so working on the older stuff would not be a problem. I will consider all makes and models, as long as parts are available. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
