The answer to that question probably depends a lot on where you're at. Where I'm at, we most certainly do require title, at least to get a licence on the tractor. We are required to have a plate (a no expiry, once in a lifetime) for legal road travel. We have bought gear from neighbouring provinces that don't require title, and it's a pain, because title has to be "created". It's a real pain if you can't follow the machines ownership history back to the original dealer. Then somebody's got to 'bluff' a bit. Might be worth checking with your local DMV to see what your local laws are concerning this. HTH. Rod
