Thanks for comments Rod. I am green on this topic so bear with me. The mechanic claimed the only thing that has not been done is the crown wheel/pinions in the back end and the brakes. Brakes work well and have plenty of adjustment left? There are no leaks around axles and little preload so he thought it was all ok. Dual Power has been done. Hydraulic pump, mainshaft through box, clutch, new compliant a/c system (not condensor in cab roof though), new motor, PTO. Not sure on the other details. I am concerned on this motor power thing. I understood the 6700 and 7700 had same running gear with 67 on a 77HP engine and the 77 on a 95HP engine. My spec sheet here for the 268 inch 4 cyclinder turbo is 103HP. What does turned up mean, greater HP i gather. The dealer said PTO needed doing as it was slipping?? Anyway I though that 15000 was probably OK money. I do feel alot of work has been done on it and it should not cost too much more, maybe that is just dealer talk coming out. Theonly work would be slashing and some cultivation. The second hand tractor market here seems hot at moment, dealers even selling machines without going through workshop. I am also looking at a David Brown 1210 for $8500. Very neat body but no hand brake, bad oil leak in external hydraulics and buggered water pump, but my brother thinks DB's are great so I am all confused.
