Hi Alberta Mike,

I strongly disagree with you. A man has nothing but his word and if his word is no good then he has nothing in this world.

If a person posts a forsale item on this website and is not honest in their dealings on that item then I don't see a problem with letting other folks know that they too had bad problems with that person.

Nothing says that the accused can not make a response comment at that time. If the seller is in shame and does not respond then that is their problem.

I do agree that not every deal made is going to be smooth each and every time. That happens in any type of transaction.

Example: Someone asked if AT&T cell service was ok. I had nothing but long term hard problems with AT&T cell service. AT&T over billing me and took 7mths to correct the problem. Now I had AT&T service for over 40yrs but you now could not give me free AT&T service as they have changed the way they do business. I now have Verizon cell service and couldn't be happier as mistakes taken care of easy and better coverage areas with more included options.

I see nothing wrong at all telling someone the above as that was my experience with AT&T for one bad year out of 40yrs. Does that mean 30 million other AT&T cell users are not happy? Nope... just means I was unhappy.

That would also apply to a forsale item on this website when I'm getting ready to incur $500 in travel expense just to look at a item that was stated in "fine working order" and in reality was in "poor condition at best" when I got there.

I think I would tell someone of my experience so maybe they don't layout $500 just to find out the item was grossly mistated.

T_Bone
