Think about it guys ... the cylinder was originally perfectly round & perfectly straight. Do ya really think that this step (ridge) got deposited up at the top ? If this ridge can be felt with a fingernail ... it's time for sleeves or a bore job. Glenn (no animals were harmed in testing of this post)
