well victor is still on the removal process of information instilled from the factory. He haS BEEN On THE COMPUTER removing crap since 10;30am,now its 5:45pm.It seems to me (the biggest dummy that I am) why there isn"t a cancellation proram that lines up all the info on the computer,by a series of checks, that you want to save to discs.(in constant running time then another series of boxes to check that will allow you to wipe off the computers information by one fell swoop, allowing the computer to crash within a matter of minutes. Was wondering if anyone was genius enough nto do that.Maybe the government processure are able to do it.The Kodak icon took over 10 minutes to delete. Now if you multiply that time table for every item that was factory installled or we installed, you could fathom you could set at the computer for 3 days removing programs. The saying less is more, comes into play in this instance. My son in law wiped his computer twice, before buying a new one.he probably got 2 virus previous from grandsons inquiry on adult sites,HE HE HE.Not so on this computer.LOL.
Wife is past that point in life.(bam I just got hit with a paN)But seriously folks,if it"s not possible to re inergise this puter,we"re going to beam into outer space and buy a new one.Our computer usage,is necessay for us for ordering parts for tractors, dozer, bobcat, trucks, trailers, and everything else we have thats mechanical. Most on a daily basis. In the process of making restoration process on our equipment,we gathwered a significant amount of info, from YT from some really good guys.
I also was wondering if you guys(computer geniuses) ever built one from component parts? That had omitted unecessay programs. The funny part of it all, is how the companies sneak in programs that are hard to remove as hens teeth. We"re coming down now on the list of deleted programs,as we are doing ours,to keep from purchaseing a new one.Well you read my second rant, like the man said,LESS IS MORE.
Thanks for your patience and help, regards,
LOU
P.S. DID YOU EVER NOTICE THAT THE MOST EXPENSIVE THINGS ARE THE ONES THAT GO FIRST,ITEMS THAT BREAK THE BANK.
that must be what they call built in obsolescense

Today's Featured Article - The Nuts and Bolts of Fasteners - Part 2 - by Curtis Von Fange. In our previous article we discussed capscrews, bolts, and nuts along with their relative hardness and thread sizes. In this segment we will finish up on our fasteners and then work with ways to keep them from loosening up in the field. Capscrews, bolts and nuts are not the only means of holding two parts together. When dealing with thinner metals like sheet tin, a long bolt and ... [Read Article]
