The local pump shop wanted $500 up front before he'd look at it, he said he had a closet full of pumps people never paid for. Another shop in another town wanted between $600-800 depending on what they find. I traded a car for this old tractor and I couldn't afford that kind of money. I tried some of the Stanadyne fuel treatment and it seemed to help. My issue seems to be raw fuel at an idle and it idles rough. I did rebuild engine, the rings bearings and head job, but still kinda runs rough when cold. If you do find a pump shop that's reasonalbly price write back to the forum I would like to get this pump worked on also. bjr
