Hi, I just replaced the needle valve and seat in the carburetor in my F-12 and it still isn't getting any gas. The float is new and both the needle valve and seat are new. When I put gas in the air intake of the carb it starts fine but then stalls once the gas is used up. What could be the problem? The carb is adjusted properly and i had it running before it began acting up and I know I have gas to the carb. The gas tank is dirty but I got it started on gas from the tank and the filters are clean so I don't think that is the problem. I did notice that on the float there is a piece that sticks out that will lock the float in the up position if it slides over just a bit. What is the purpose of this and is there a way to prevent it from locking? I think this may be the problem. Thanks for all the help.
