Few weeks away from a "red" tractor, then it's time to get back together.
Super thankful for some friends who have helped me with this.
Back in Jun 2010 my dad and I attended Heritage Tractor Ride in Hennepin IL, after we decided it was finally time to redo our 560. Dad & I thought that would be fun to restore it, you know "a project". The next month my dad passed away from an heart attack. So needless to say this tractor has lots of meaning to me. It started as simple redo as the tractor is VERY solid, but that changed and went all out as you can tell. It's crazy the amount of time & money it takes to do this right but I think when it's done it will be totally worth it.
Doubtful you will see one like this... nothing really custom other than the "look" will be little different than stock. We are replacing all the wiring, hoses, and many other things and will NOT paint over them. Lots of parts have been paint off the tractor to insure high detail. I could go on and on.
Super attention to detail :)
We plan to have a night at the shop during reassembly and invite several of my dad's farmer friends over to "help" :) they have all been around this tractor & I they have not seen it yet either.
This project is a great way to honor dad.
Chad

It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro
