More grease than I ever expected. I will be getting a free bail and 2nd day air shipping (77 lbs). I am even getting some money to make up for the shortfall in the shipping refund.

I checked the new tracking number, and dang, it will be here tomorrow. Don't think that this thread was the catylist. Marty contacted UPS at 5:02 PM yesterday. That was before this thread was started.

Anyway, I have two new messages from my eBay Message Folder. Marty first and then my reply.

Dear retiredparts,

Just to let you know you are wrong, and we did ship you last hoop, UPS lost it somewhere in New York. Now you bought another one from A crook like me here A few days ago and I refunded you for it and did ban you as what you done is wrong, you hide behind smoke and mirrors instead of being A man and contacting me to see if we can resolve any issues you have. Now this is how smart you are and how honest I am. You think we tossed your part in the scrap when we did indeed ship it and the tracking was lost in New York. I did not know until you told me that it had not been delivered and I did check the tracking and it had vanished. I then opened A Case with UPS and they were unable to find the part. Then Yesterday I contacted My UPS account rep and told him That I had another part that would replace the other one that was lost I said I would eat the cost of the part if they would eat the freight of the part to get it to you and he agreed to it. So we boxed it and shipped it 2 day air saver and you should have it tomorrow. The UPS tracking # is 1Z5F60490251349431. I am refunding you for the rest of that order you purchased earlier in November to make up for all of the wrong doing I have had towards you in our past history. You in turn will never buy from me again, If you open A new account I will find it and ban you. And I had A chat with my Ebay account manager yesterday and he informed me that you have this trouble with A few buyers out there not just me. He told me it would be in my best interest to keep you banned as you have A few accounts out there that you have done the same thing to. And if you open another account they will take the action necessary. And we both also know I am not the liar as they contacted you on this matter yesterday. Also if I were A dishonest seller I would not have shipped you the second part free of charge. You are the problem to Alot of sellers not the other way around. You said yourself you need my parts, but I don't need problems like you

You still don't get it. I am not hiding behind multiple accounts. You killed off three of them. They no longer work on your auctions although they are viable elsewhere. I will probably retire the last two accounts because it is a pain-in-the-butt to carry multiple accounts. eBay only allows one "log in" at a time from the same computer and will always default to the last userid when refreshing any acct.

My original account, which I have had for more than 10 years, has perfect feedback. The same can be said for the special accounts I had to create for trading with you. I have invoked the eBay Buyer Protection plan three or four times. Several with you, another with a parts non-delivery from an individual, and a negotiated settlement on a damaged antique ice cream maker that carried a deceptive description. I do have alot of correspondence in my Message Folder. The messages usually involve requests for additional info. I don't send them to you because you won't answer them.

This response is actually about your account rep. He understands that you violated ebay policy by not shipping a purchased item (the second hoop) and by cheating a customer out of his guaranteed refund (the first hoop). He has made you tow-the-line and I thank him for that. Unfortunately, he was not able to effect an attitude adjustment and I can still smell the sour grapes. We both know you are not "honest". Self-delusional certainly applies.

I wrote you regarding the lost hoop around the middle of November. I requested status info. All you had to do was forward a tracking number to me and the scrapping accusations would not have developed. You have just received some good advice for the future.

Thanks to you and UPS for making good on the lost part. It won't forestall a negative feedback that I will be eligible to post on Saturday. All I need is an apology, a lifting of the ban, and a retraction of your unfounded character assassination comments. But it's your life.

Today's Featured Article - Box Plow Blues - by Tom Schwarz. One of the first implements most tractor owners obtain is the box plow. For very little money, this piece of equipment promises to plow and flatten any hill or vale on your ranch road or farm. At least that's what I thought! As simple as a box plow appears, it can be rather challenging to make work correctly. In our sandy soils of Florida, traction is king. You can never have wide enough tires or heavy enough weights to get all the traction you want … unless you own a monster tractor. U ... [Read Article]
