Hey guys, just thought I'd share with you all what I bought today. I had to pay dearly for this one, but its future looked pretty sad and I could see through all the grease and dirt that this is a good tractor and needed to be saved!! The lady that had this one (1972 Farmall 140), had inherited it from her father when he passed in 1993. It has been used 3 times since then, which the last time was around 1998. I bought it Not Running, but it is a 1 owner since new and has all of the original equipment that was bought with it (1 point hitch). The cultivators even still have the decals on them. It came with a 1 point hitch, complete runner planter & side dresser set-up, complete cultivator, set of hillers, 1 point hitch "screw type" adjustable double gang disk, 1 point hitch double flatbottom breaking plow with all colters, original drawbar extension, and a 1 point hitch Bush Hog Brand 4 foot rotary cutter. All of the equipment is in "like new" condition as well. I just hope the tractor runs as good as it looks (for its age). I guess we will see tomorrow!!! :) BTW, if anyone is wondering; I had to give $3,300 for everything. She was asking $4,000; but there was NO WAY I could go that much especially since the tractor wasn't running. Anyways....enough talk, and here are some pictures........
