I would like to think my plumbing nightmares are history...and I THINK they are BUT....what is the magic with brake line flare fittings. I went back out and this connection is dripping. I have tightened but still drips. This is just a standard flared brake line going into a second fitting which goes into the sediment bowl. Options at this point are: (1) Tighten some more or (2) teflon up the threads. It is a slowish drip but enough to drain a tank in a few days. My prior nemesis, the compression fitting, is holding just fine and dandy at the carb. Not sure what to think on the battery. It tested fine at the battery place a couple of weeks ago. So what do I do to get rid of the drips?
