That worked out pretty nice! First attempt I made a beautiful replica of my gas line....then realized I had NOT put the flare fitting on first so that one is on the shelf waiting for the day when I need a line with two compression fittings. I probably should not admit to these stupid mistakes but it teaches y'all to speak S-L-O-W-L-Y when instructing me 'cause I can be a halfwit about some of the most simple things. Anyhow, when I came in attempt #2 was NOT leaking anywhere and really looks nice with the new sediment bowl and pretty re-done carb. How did the carb work out??? Well, I dunno 'cause the fool battery went dead on me again. I didn't think to charge it last night since the ground has been disconnected since it last ran. I suspect this battery is on her last legs. Anyhow, tomorrow I fire her up and see how well I did on the carb. The throttle screw is backed off per the manual 1.5 turns and the idle screw is backed off one full turn. There is no main jet adjustment on this carb, just a plug that covers the jet. Tractor ran really good before I took the carb off but would not idle and the idle adjustment had no effect. Any tips before I proceed would be appreciated. Is the plumbing part just about done because I stink at it?
