About a week ago I was having problems with my hydraulics on my 300. The pump was bogging the engine down and getting really hot after on a few minutes of running. After some trial and error testing, I discovered that a screen/plug in an orifice in the pressure regulator block had collapsed and was acting like a plug, sending pressure to the hydraulics all the time. I have since gotten this fixed, but the pump still seems to bog the engine down ever so slightly and the pump does get warm still; although not near as bad as it was. After 10 minutes of running, the pump was about as warm to the touch as the side of the block. I am not real familiar with 300's and this is my first Farmall so I would just like to see if this is a normal thing or if I still have problems. Thanks...
