424 Hydr, sufficient GPM/Pressure for Small Backho

I want to build a small CadPlan type backhoe for my tractor IH424.

Usually these small jobbers are already designed for 4GPM@4000lbs w/8HP Engine, with the rated cylinders it already has on it.

I want to tap off my Aux connections on the tractor. My concern for power is less than for implement speed. I don't want to dig the hole faster by hand than by machine!Ha, I'm not worried about super speedy either, but don't want to sacrifice a lot of power for speed either.

Is the tractor's 9GPM@2100lbs sufficient to power a little backhoe and still give me a good performance?. Actually it's probably a bit less than top performing due to wear, maybe 7@1800. 3PH is very good.

Any advice would be appreciated.
