I noticed it was leaking at the carb. A local mechanic told me I should have used a file to level out the bevel on the lid and base of the carb. He suggested I take it off and file it down. This I did and I checked the filters listed in all of the responses. Now I have good gas flow, but.....the thing won't turn over now. The starter was hitting every time. Do they go out that sporadically?
