Thanks for all the help. I have searched that flywheel from top to bottom for hours, it simply isn't there. As long as I know it fires at TDC, I can deal with it. My manual only covered the magneto system, guess I'll have to find a better manual. This tractor was basly rusted when I began the project. I guess it's possible that that mark sluffed off from all the rust. scott#2
