I recently replaced the pressure plate, clutch disc and throw-out bearing. In addition I replaced the bearings in the transmission. After this, whenever you start the engine and shift the transmission in any gear the gears grind. I did notice that the oil slinger gear was not installed. I went to my tractor supply but and told that it was not necessary to have this gear installed and no replacement was available. I have checked several other same type transmissions and they did not grind the gears whenever you shifted into gear. Anybody have an idea what might be causing this problem? Thanks
