What would cause the part where the magneto gets its power from to fail? it is not live hydrolics running off there so there should not of been added stress. i took the mag off my md and was watching the part the mag mates to and when i crank the engine the part that runs the mag doent spin. it will move slightly after 10 full cranks. what would cause this part to fail? It dosent seem like it would be under alot of stress as my kid can turn the mag by hand. the engine is not getting power tothe thing that spins the mag. so if the engine cant turn the peace that turns the mag theres somthing wrong. how should i go about fixing it? any ideas ever had it happen to you before? i knoe one of you guys or gals have seen this condition before.
