What shape is the sheet metal in? Was the tractor pretty straight when you bought it? I bought a very run down Super C in 1997 and wished I had looked a little more and found a better tractor to begin with. I spent nearly every weekend and evening after work working on that tractor for nearly a year. It was like one thing led to another and the more I worked on it the more perfect it had to be. Got so much time and money in the completed project I don't use it. Just look at it and drive it in the local fair parade once a year. Had to buy another tractor to use. My wife has her own Super C but it is a very nice original tractor, wish I had found that one instead of the one I redid. Wouldn't have been nearly as much work. All it needs is a couple of seals and paint. The sheetmetal is perfect. Hard to find a C with a perfect grille, but hers is.
