Sheet metal was as close to excellent as you could want on a 1941 H. The only Bondo that I can find was on the crest of the fenders (minor) and the seat (terrible!). Otherwise, it's not pitted and ready to blast/prime/sand/paint/sand/paint/clearcoat. As for being straight, she was very straight. I have no metal bending to deal with. The steering linkage was tight, the metal wasn't dented, it ran, tires were OK, and everything but the manifold was reusable. Here's the worst part: I paid $400 for it with a recently repaired sickle mower. You can see the "before" picture on my web page: http://www.execpc.com/~bwrmngtn The acquisition of these tractors gave me free-reign to purchase a 400 ft/lb torque pnuematic impact wrench. That has made the job very easy so far (except for those damn radiator bolts under the frame). I'm also fairly accomplished in the body work and paint arena, so getting a mirror-like red finish on every visible part is not an issue. Learning what all these parts are, how they are connected with one another, and how they perform is another thing! Regards, Brett - WIRED
