I have a 1010 with a diesel engine,I travel around in third gear,do most of my work in second gear and heavy work in first. I have more problem with spinning tracks than lack of power. I think your governor is stuck from lack of use"rusty linkage" or disconnected"broken". the 1010 is a small crawler and is limited to what it will do. I ran a case 1150 for a week and saw what twice the weight and power would do. The 1010 is a "finish" dozer not a tree pusher or pond digger. get a large cat for heavy clearing,saves alot of time,swearing and final drives!!!
