Jdemaris, I've run a couple over the years, and to say I was underwhelmed is simply not enough. Both were low-hour machines (one was one-owner), started instantly, ran VERY well, hydraulics were as new, etc. (Both were loaders). You couldn't load the bucket full, even in loose dirt or gravel. It wouldn't pick up more than about 1/3-1/2 a bucket without killing the motor. You couldn't doze more than about 1/2 a bucketful of dirt ahead of it. To top it off, this was all on flat ground. I have an AC HD3 loader. Before I rebuilt it, it used 2 quarts of oil every hour, and the injector pump would barely start it and keep it running. I could still move more dirt in less time with it than my friend's good running 1010 gasser. I couldn't believe that there could be that much difference in brands. Made me wonder how John Deere ever sold one - or got repeat business. Just my opinion. But as my friend told me about his - when he bought it new, it beat the hell out of loading creek gravel with a shovel. Good luck, Dale
