If we had import duties on those products like we used to,they wouldn't be cheaper. On the same hand,if American workers were making those products and being paid a good wage to do so,that money would circulate through the economy and we would ALL be able to AFFORD to pay the slightly higher prices FOR those products. The talk radio crowd talks til they're blue in the face about cutting taxes and the money circulating throughout the economy,but can't get it through their brainless heads that higher wages do the same thing,and more.
