Could very well be. These things are being consolidated so fast it's hard to keep up. I can't even remember right now,the ones that Filmore took over recently. Voelker needs to be looking over their shoulder. They only have 2 locations and they're dangerously close to the Filmore dynasty. Somebody at Deere would do well to read Walt Bueschers book "Plow Pedler". He was blockman for AC in eastern Michigan and northwest Ohio for decades. He starts with telling why AC bought out Rumley. It was to get their dealers. Then he tells about going to every town on the map,trying to get car dealers,independent garages,even farmers to become dealers. Finally tells about farmers driving right past dealers in their own hometowns to go to the next town to a dealer who fit their own personality,ethnicity or even religion. Now,Deere wants these dealers a certain distance apart,run like WalMart,all the same. No personality,just business. Some other company would do well to be watching this and going into these black holes that Deere is creating for themselves,then giving all of the incentives that they could give to get a toe hold in some of these neighborhoods.
