Well I'm finally home so I gotta catch up on things. I need to get the chipper going but it hasn't been used in about five years so natch the carb is shot. I need to rebuild it but I don't see any ID on the engine. The carb has the number 1071 1L stamped under the idle adjust screw on the top. (I think the last thing is an "L") It's of of a 8HP engine, and it's about 22-25 years old. There is a needle screw that comes up through the bottom of the fuel bowl and another adjustment screw just above the bowl on the same side as the idle adjust screw. (I think it adjusts the idle, it contacts a tab on the throttle lever) Any help would be appreciated.
