I can understand them setting it on fire...
Our neighbours had a Zetor 12045 (I think) and a new 7245 both of which they lost in a barn fire. They liked the 120... but both were pretty crude simple tractors. They replaced them with Ford's too... so that might say something. But... there were several other Zetor's around here. 8011's, 7211/45's and some of the smaller ones too... and WITHOUT EXCEPTION, there is not one that cleared 5K hours on an engine. Many were a good deal less. Hydraulic problems. Leaks. Constant problems with the hydraulic brakes/seals. Mostly smaller stuff other than the engines... but in most cases it was enough that they never bought another. Most are gone now; replaced with Kubota's and Massey's... Zetor tractors of that day were simply not up to the design or workmanship quality of most of their north american or western european counterparts. Mabey not a ruski... but not american or brit quality by any stretch. At a time when Ford, Deere and IH were building their very best tractors in terms of durability, Zetor couldn't match them by half. However... none of that matters if you're happy with this one.
