There where many test models of the ETD made and discarded. There was a problem with the Quadphasmic drive when you tried to shift to hyperphysic overdrive. Remember this was in 1919 and unobtanium was not yet available. They did try a loader that revolved independent of the frame. It was tippy if you tried lifting while jackknifing. Having to hold back on two levers while pushing ahead on the other two while stepping on three pedals at the same time was a bit confusing. I understand that one of the test drivers wound up buttocks deep in hog slop when he lost control. It could have been bull droppings hmmmm. If either the Dums or the Repugs had financed the ETD we could all be out in the field now cutting divits in the cotton patch.
