Felice Pace, chair of the Klamath Forest Alliance, told the KlamathFalls Herald and News. "After years of struggle, we have finally achieved some balance," he said.

Let see..no water means no livestock, crops, or income for farmers. It means no supplies being sold by the agricultural supply industry and therefore a loss of income for not only them but the manufactures of the chemicals and seeds that the farmers would normally use.

What do we get in return? No food production, flooded land above the dam, loss of property due to lack of revenues to pay the bills, devaluated property worth praticaly nothing without water, tens of thousands of people whose very lives are severly affected by this decision.

Oh and I almost forgot..more water for fish to swim in..

Yep... that is balanced pretty good.

Perfectly balanced IF you are from the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia.

Now I propose a balancing act...Let's everyone meet on THE fault line, the truly GREAT DIVIDE, and drill and build, shake and shimmy, jump up and down, blast and explore, what ever it takes to seperate Kalifornia from the rest of this country. They want balance let them balance out on the Pacific floor.

After the War of Northern Aggression, it became illegal for a state to leave the Union, BUT there was nothing said about kicking another state out.

Out in the ocean sounds good right about now.

Now I am not advocating violence, but if the farmer and land owners can not get water legally , why not just blow the dam and then NO ONE gets water. NOW THAT is balance.
