I've got a late 1960s Pettibone Multihoe that I think is almost the same as the Dynahoe. Huge machine with a Detroit 3-53 and Allison transmission. I've had a lot of people mistake it for a Dynahoe. 16.9 x 24 rear tires and a 1 1/2 yard front bucket. Machine weighs around 17,000 lbs. Has a very slow ground speed and is not something you'd want to drive long distance.
These machines are somewhat crude, but very heavy duty. Nicest thing is that they are based on all generic truck parts with nothing special. So you can buy parts almost anywhere for any of it.
Mine has the air over hydraulic brakes option. I rebuilt the whole system last year and got everything from a NAPA auto parts store. Just had to match up the numbers.
