Back around the mid 1980s I visited in Houston, TX and came across a Pasquali tractor dealer which I remember as being a sub company of a Ford dealer.
Tonight I came across some photos I took at the dealership and in one it shows Southern Tractor Corporation.
I'm wondering if the dealership is still around. I'm assuming that it was never successful as a lot of the brand new tractors had parts robbed off of them even back then.
Would anyone care to tell me more about that dealership, etc.? Expect the lot had 200-300 tractors on premises and for sale. Wonder if the dealer didn't import an entire ship load of them. lol
Most were low orchard like models, small and articulated. There were also units that were basically a BCS styled two-wheeled tractor but had a rear u-joint, fairly long tongue which the driver sat over, leading to a powered utility cart. Much like the third world photos of carts loaded very high and being pulled by small engine units.
Should be a lot of used units of both around since there were so many of them.
