They don't have an actual tractor, just a picture of one from another ad or site on the internet. They'll ship it to you after you pay, and then come get it and refund your money if you don't like it. It's always somewhere about a thousand miles from you, and to shut them up fast, just say "Hey, my uncle lives just down the road in Yazoo City! Where is it, I'll have him come take a look!" Click... Hmmmm....
How do I know? Wife's friend got all excited about a living quarters horse trailer for $3,500, so I got to check it out.
Some guy came on the board a couple years ago with a link to such an ad, with a pic of his tractor. He said he wasn't even aware that he had it for sale. We all got a good laugh out of it.
