As to not letting us sell cars overseas ?

The last few years GM's Buick division was selling more cars in China then in the USA.

I always liked the GM trucks and cars ride and handling, BUT I got tired of all the oil and antifreeze leaks and other problems. I didn't have much luck with them at all ! I have/had 2 Dodges that weren't too bad a 1996 truck and a 1999 minivan. Now our 2006 Dodge minivan is another story ! only 58,000 miles and I just had to replace the waterpump, rear air cond. evap.,and it had a turn signal switch replaced in warranty under 36,000 miles. This is a PRIME example of why Dodge should be allowed to go belly up !

And as to 30 years ago GM,Ford,Dodge were asleep and just thought they could sell any POS to the US market. This let Honda and Toyota come on in with a WAY MORE RELIABLE product. Sister had a 1986 Toyota truck and it NEVER gave any troubles. Same with my other sisters Honda Accord maybe early 90's ? she then bought a 1999 CRV and it has been VERY GOOD too with 140,000 miles and still going for her. I do fear that Honda and especially Toyota may be slipping on quality control falling the way of the "big 3"

I hope Ford hangs in there and gets good quailty and can get out of debt on their own.

The saga starts with the following message: Hey guys I have a decision to make. I know what you all will probably suggest and it will probably agree with me way down inside, but here it is. I have a picture blown up and framed in my "tractor room" of a Farmall M. It was my Grandpa's tractor, of which whom I never got to meet. He froze to death getting this tractor out of the barn to pull a truck out of the ditch before I was born. Anyway my dad and aunt had to sell it at the auction, ... [Read Article]
