I saw one on the photo ads here a couple weeks ago, but the wagon isn't worth that much. Probably gonna just take it off the gear and do something else.

We need to atleast the 2 wagons ready to go for hay in a month, our other wagon is a 18 ft. Gehl 970 that hasn't given us any troubles yet. We bought the 920 last fall at my 2nd cousin's estate auction after he was killed in a farm accident. He replaced the apron chain in it not too long ago and I knew it, so I encouraged my dad to bid on it because I knew of some of the work done to it and I knew it'd be a fairly decent wagon. Unfortunately you can't predict everything. Of the 4 Gehl wagons in the line up, the one we bought brought the most ($400) because it was the first one. The rest were all 940's or 960's and brought less, but I didn't know the extent of work done to them as well.

I changed the oil in my 1600 on Wed., and started thinking about adding a precleaner to the air inlet, as the oil bath air cleaner gets so nasty so fast on it. It'd be nice if a precleaner was on it to screen out the bigger stuff before it goes to the oil bath. On agpartfirst a Turbo 2 preclener is less than $100, but that needs to wait for now atleast.

I have been a collector of Farmall tractors since 1990 when I first obtained part of the family farm in Eastern Indiana. My current collection includes a 1938 F20, 1945 H, 1946 H, and the recently purchased 1951 H. This article will focus on what I encountered and what I did to bring the 1951 NEAR DEATH Farmall H back to life. ... [Read Article]
