I know a dairy farmer who bought a used skid loader two years later the sheriff came looked at the ser # and said it was stolen. they wanted to take it that day but the farmer said he had to feed cows so they gave him two days. he had to buy another one and the guy that sold it to him is paying him $120 a month till he pays back the $9500. and I think he goes to jail on the weekends. when I was a machinery salesmen we would go to the county court house to see if there was any leans or loans against the tractor before we took it on trade. I can't spell it but do you know the saying " let the buyer beware"
