Times sure have changed! I was looking for a truck 3 years ago, and what you got was what I was looking for. I was lookng for an 00 to 02 chevy 2500 with a stick and 4X4. Closest thing I could find was on in Frankfort KY (4 hours away) and the salesman talked it up so much on the phone I made arangements at the bank and got a buddy to ride up there in my car cause I was going to drive it back. It was crap from the word go. The clear coat was scratched all up but the scratches did not match, it was at least 3 trucks that had been made into one. I thought the manager was going to deck me and my buddy before we left. After he got done screaming and cussing, my buddy just looked at him and said "so did you put this cheap a$$ after market, Krylon paint bumper on or was it come from one of the 3 trucks this'ns made of?"

Any way it was junk, reg. cab with 80,000 miles on it and 5 years old at the time and the guy still would not come off $19,000.

Glad you had better luck than me.

I ended up with a 93 ford one ton. I am happy with it and it was cheap but it sure would be nice to have a newer one.

Dave
