Thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers over the weekend.
Nancy and I made it through the storm with very little damage.
Parked all the trucks and tractors in an open area near the garden.
Nancy wrapped and taped plastic bags on tractor exhaust pipes and magnetos/distributors.
Coffee cans also put on tractor exhausts.
Rains began about 12:30pm on Saturday and lasted through midnight.
Lost electrical power about 1:45pm and decided best thing for me to do was to take a nap.
Power came back on at 3:30pm - less than 2 hours without power!
Eye of the storm passed through around 6pm.
Lots of high wind but not the heavy rainfall that was predicted.
We took a tractor tour Sunday morning to check for damage.
One large 8"-10" limb broke from Cedar tree, small limbs broke from 3 other Cedar trees, top broke out of Sweet Gum tree, one 8"-10" Sycamore tree down, one small Sweet Gum tree down, and one broken limb on Pine tree.
Round bales in the hay shed didn't get too wet.
No flooding in the "bottom".
Pond did not overflow.
No damage to any of the "out" buildings.
Our farm was spared from any large scale damage.
Since more than half of the tractors needed to be moved around, we decided to take a "team" photo.
No problem starting any of the ones left outside in the rain.
Sunday was a beautiful day and I got to drive all the tractors.
