I'm thinking of installing one of those reznor waste oil heaters in my farm shop.My chimney is an 8in.x18ft.pipe with a 6in.flue pipe. The stove requires an 8in. pipe, but the heater seller says the 6in would be fine.I wonder why they use the larger flue pipes now? My old furnace has a 6in pipe and works fine on another chimney. 6in. used to be the standard. Will the heater work alright with the smaller flue pipe? Thanks.
