I've been doing it for a couple years now in three older diesels. I put my used oil in a sedement tank and draw it off when I fill my 100 gal bulk tank. I fill the bulk tank with diesel and filter it before putting it in the vehicle tank. What I have noticed is that my vehicle filters clog too quickly if I run over 4% used oil. If I keep the mixture at 2%, I can get the filters to last a year which is when I change them anyway. If I have to change filters more often then that, I don't feel that I'm saving any money by running more used oil because the cost of the filter digs into the savings. Robert
