When I worked at tyson, I had two or three that got planted in chicken houses. I have not lost one in the field yet. I learned at tyson, always keep it in my pants pocket or in a shirt pocket with a button. Most of the ones I have lost or killed came from have'n it in a shirt pocket, they would bounce out. I killed one here at this job out of a shirt pocket, I was bent over fix'n a 13% bleach leak, it fell in a puddle of bleach. It was a slow cell phone death, the end where it charged corroeded up, I would scrape the green off but it kept messed up after that. My brother planted on under a load of broiler litter one time. (had it in a shirt pocket while untarp'n) He dug for over an hour, could hear it ring but could not find it.
