But, what made me question it was my Dad telling me he wasn't going to get esp payment. I knew he had screwed up, because I knew roughly what his income was, outside of retirement checks. I have no idea what he receives via his company retirement account.
That is, I knew he made slightly more than the $3000 cut-off, just because I knew he held a part time (occasional) job. That, and the house painting job. I don't know what he got as a tax return. I do know, if I deserve it and you deserve it, then anyone else out there probably deserves it. (Not that anyone should be getting it)
Oh, yes, I have a job and to tell you the truth, I wouldn't take my own financial advice, so I wouldn't expect anyone else to take it either.
But you could go through all my tax returns, if you wanted and you wouldn't find any problems, other than wondering why I don't have much as far as investment income. Probably cause my wife likes to stimulate the economy every month with our credit cards. That, and my tractor habit.
