I can see you're too bull headed to drop this, and possibly are going to get somebody hurt.
I've used these 8 volt batteries since the 50's, they're not something new.
You can indeed charge the battery at higher voltages, that point was not the controversy, but that charging rate creates a very, very, dangerous situation.
Some of these folks who don't know different may think you've come up with a better mousetrap.
I don't know if you're that ignorant or you want to get someone blind or disfigured, or both.
For safety sake please quit telling these folks something that is'nt just exactly right.
I will give you the benefit of a doubt on your intentions, but there is a possibility that someone could be blinded today who reads this thread.
If you want to baffle these folks with brilliance then please just post the safety cautions related to any type battery charging procedure.
