There is more to it than just sentimental value. I have the tractor my Grandpa bought new (1956 JD 60). My son has the tractor his Grandpa, my Dad, bought new (1950 JD A). They are more than just an heirloom. I grew up in and on these tractors. Know everything thats ever been done to them and with them. Every overhaul. Every new set of tires. When Dad laid the A on its side. When I broke the front wheels off the 60 with the mounted picker on it. Knowing the complete history adds value as well. I, and I can speak for my son as well, wouldn't sell these tractors for any amount of money.
Oh, by the way, my 60 has a brass tag. It must be "R A R E"
