I've never used one of the gadgets before, but this last baler came with three of the silly things to mount on different tractors. It is supposed to tell you when to stop and tie the bale so that a fella doesn't have to be continually looking back and watching that "full indicator" on the baler face. You really have to watch it 'cause if you make the bale too big, it will shear a pin at the pickup to keep from harming the baler. I guess this thing is just supposed to save your neck muscles is all. Buzzes at ya and the little red light comes on when the bale is finished. :>) Allan
