The following information was copied from a post on the Farmall Board. This post was listed by "CNKS”, he does seem to know a lot about these tractors: "The serial numbers from the 1st quarter of 1950 when the white C's were produced: 47010 - 54411. At that time IH did not use primer, but hard telling what has been done to it since then. Some tractors did have a whte sealer on the cast parts, in case there was a leak or a seep". If it fell within that number range and I owned it I belive that I would restore it and paint it white. You don't seem to see many of them at shows in my neck of the woods.
