If you purchase a true premium diesel fuel there will be additives added at the refinery to replace the lubricity lost due to the low sulfer content. If you are running a #2 fuel you will need to add some kind of additive such as powerservice or the like. There is alot of #2 fuel sold out there that is truely crap. I would not run it in my worst enemies engine. Try to make sure that you are at least getting a good fuel. Ask to see the bill of ladding for the fuel transport truck.
