I just gotta ask, before you pulled it apart you did pressure check the cooling system right? Just doesnt add up that you could get water out of the exhaust without getting bubbles in the radiator, or at least Ive never seen that, course theres lots I aint seen....I assume youve run it long enough to burn off any rainwater/condensation, does the water level in the rad. drop? You could try revin it up and cutting the ign. and closing the throttle at the same time to create a high vacuum state and when it stops, pull the plugs quickly and see if you can see water on any and maybe isolate the leaking cyl.
